[KIMES 2015] U BioMed's No Pain Needle Drug Delivery
System
U BioMed(CEO Eom Nyeon-sik, www.ubiomed.co.kr) showcased "Tappy Tok-Tok," its no-pain
micro
needle for facial program, at the 31st Korea International Medical &
Hospital Equipment Show(KIMES), which runs Mar. 5-8.
Tappy Tok-Tok is a micro needle device for directly delivering cosmeceutical
and hair growth solution into the dermis
by lightly tapping it on user's skin.
It is more effective than topical or oral delivery of the medicated solution
because it is applied directly on the problem spot, the company said.
Proven as an effective method, it has been internationally certified by FDA,
CE, and ISO 13485.
A spokesman for this company said, "There is no pain because the thickness of
the needle is just a little thicker than
mosquito's sting. Also, skin
regenerates where the needle has gone in, so it is an effective method for
treating hair loss."
U BioMed is a manufacturer and seller of no pain syringe, cosmetics, and hair
loss treatment medicine.
Co-organized by Korea E&X, Korea Medical Devices Industrial Coop.
Association, and Korea Medical Devices
Industry Association, KIMES 2015, under
the theme "Today's health means tomorrow's happiness," is exhibiting
more than
30,000 medical devices, hospital facilities, medical information system, and
other medical-related
products of 1,145 companies from 34 countries.
